CYCLIST NOTICES INJURED DOG CRAWLING OUT FROM WOODS

You never know when you’ll have the opportunity to achieve something extraordinary. It’s sometimes evident, and other times it’s unexpected. A group of bikers in Georgia were out for a ride and enjoying the day when one of them discovered a small dog in the woods.

He appeared to have been struck by a car and need assistance.

Jarrett Little was the first to notice the dog, and he and a few other bikers brought it food and water. They knew they couldn’t leave him behind because he’d die if they did. Little is said about this:

“We came to a halt to reorganize, and he emerged from the woods to greet us. He was quite frail, with exposed ribs, road rash, and a shattered leg.”

They didn’t know how or where to bring the dog to safety, but they knew they had to try.
Little cycled back to town with the dog on his back. Then, by chance, they met a lady who couldn’t get enough of the gorgeous dog. Little has been said:

“We ran into Mrs. Andrea, who was visiting from Maine, right when we returned to my local bike shop to get him some more water and food.” She decided to retain him and have him examined by a doctor. She paid for his surgery and discovered an organization that could assist her in getting him back to Maine to live on her horse farm.”

Andrea Shaw named the dog Columbo, and he fits right in with her family.
Everything came together so nicely that it’s almost as if it was meant to be. Little is delighted he saw the puppy and that he and his pals decided to take him into town rather than just leave him with food and water. “Had I been five minutes earlier or later, we would not have met paths with her,” he claimed. It’s amazing how far he’s come.”

Columbo needed to get back to Maine to be with his new owner once he was feeling better.
He was driven there by several persons. Shaw clarified:

“After four pins were inserted to stabilize the fractures and a full cast was placed on a front leg to brace a broken toe, Bo traveled with 25 staples in his hind leg.” They gave him all of his medications and kept him comfortable until he was able to return to my arms.”

She was overjoyed when Bo arrived at his new home. He made himself at home, and she shared a snapshot of him in his new digs. She accompanied it with the following caption:

“Thank you so much for securely transporting Columbo from Georgia to Maine. I can’t say enough good things about his chauffeur!!!!”

In a lot of ways, this small puppy is fortunate.
He not only met some friendly riders at the perfect time, but he also found someone who would provide him with medical care and a new home. Some dogs are never saved, and this pup might not have had a happy ending if things had gone a bit differently.
